IntroductionThis newsletter usually goes out on (or after) the last day of the month, as I run around looking for great fre3bies, and make sure I have lots of content for you. And I will save myself time by just sending a reminder, pointing to the online version, so I don't have to spend time converting it to text. But this time I will be 2 days early, as I have a time-critical offer for you. You have to do it before the 1st November. But don't worry it's fr3e. Go to the Fr33bies section to get it. And if there is only one thing you look at in this issue, make it this one: MasteryTV. Signup for free, login and listen to the presentation. Very impressive. No noticeable response to my survey from last month's issue. I just wanted to find out what people actually want in this newsletter, and to make sure it was getting read. You can still do it by visiting Survey1. Fr33biesHow would you like to be taught everything there is to know about Affiliate Marketing by Armand Morin -- FOR FREE! Yup 100% FREE. When I heard this I was in. This is a no brainer. Click This Link Below For All The Details: My Affiliate Centre Remember... Until November 1st -- You Can Become a lifetime CHARTER MEMBER for fre3! Don't sit on this one. Marketing and Tech TipsThe links-pal.com site that I mentioned last month, has proved useful as a source of quality sites to do reciprocal links with. The sites they list mostly adhere to the quality practises of having the links page directly accessible from the index page, and having less than 50 outgoing links per page. Not so the actual links-pal.com site itself. There are now heaps of links per page, which I would have been annoyed with if I had paid to have my link there. The value of having your site listed on a PR4 page is diluted when there are too many links on it - it doesn't contribute enough towards your own PR. So I am glad I didn't put my sites there - I just use it as a source for link partners. Ditto Linksmanager.com and linkleads.com. Great sources of sites to do link exchanges with. I wish I had used these sites earlier. One of the most annoying things about exchanging links is finding sites who don't bother to reply to emails, or reciprocate links, which is what I seemed to end up with when doing a search for "Get Paid To Read Email + add url". I am basically only exchanging links with sites that adhere to my relatively tough rules. Less than 40 links per page, unless they have good pagerank. Or if Google mentions them when I search for the backlinks (incoming links) on a competing site. It is rewarding to watch position improve for a chosen searchphrase, as you add links. A Get Paid Site is still #1 on Google for the phrase "A Get Paid Site", but was pathetic for the phrase "Get Paid To Read Email". Slowly I am moving up, a page at a time. It'll be interesting to see what pagerank and how many links it will take to get to the top two pages for such a competitive searchphrase. Publishing your site on link managers such as those mentioned above, is just asking for your inbox to be flooded. There are lots of sites currently asking me for link exchanges, who don't even bother reading my link page for instructions on who sites I link with. All my link checking is currently done manually, although I have been considering automating the checking of it. I don't want to have to spend money each month, so I like the sound of one-time-payment programs such as this one: http://www.webposition.com/linkdefender.htm, by the creators of webposition gold. Not that I have joined it yet, but it does sound good. I have been spending a lot of time doing link exchanges this month, as getting a good position on Google is the best place for fre3 advertising that I know about. Although, looking through my Kiosk logs, I also do get visitors referred from link exchanges with other sites, so it does benefit both ways. Bravenet was revamped recently, and has been sending out great newsletters with practical CSS hints. A professional bunch of guys and tools there. One of the forums I visit had a member complain that someone was sending fake emails theoretically from her. The good guys on the forum suggested a couple of places to go where you can track down those beasts:
I did listen to the audio files on Armand Morin's site (see fr3ebie section above), and he stressed the benefits of marketing hard when a program first comes out. I agree, the best success I have, is when as soon as I hear about a program, hitting it hard on the startpages and safelists, and putting it on my websites. During the month, I also heard about skype.com, by the creators of kazaa. A peer-to-peer voice-over-ip (VOIP) program that is completely fre3, it apparently has excellent quality voice reproduction, and is great for doing overseas phone calls on the internet. I installed it, and immediately did an Ad-aware scan, to make sure it wasn't harbouring spyware like it's predecessors, but it came up clean. Now I just need my relatives to actually logon from Texas....., or some friends with microphones on their PCs. Of course, then it was proven to be duplication, as I had a voice conversation with the husband temporarily in Tokyo, via the audio function of MSN messenger. I have a cheap microphone in my headset, but ended up unplugging it and using the microphone built into my monitor. Fun! Cheap!! When I really have some fr3e time, I'll plug my music keyboard into my PC, and record a song for you all. Business ProgramsA brand new program hitting the internet is MasteryTV. You can join for free, and promote it, and decide later whether it is right for you. If you want to get excited, signup for free and listen to the presentation. One of the most professional, smooth, high-tech presentations I have seen for quite a while. Here is some of their spiel: - Global TV over the internet. The future of Television. The future of education. Broadcast worldwide on demand. You will kick yourself if you don't sign up for fr3e right now. Use this as a test case to see just how many signups you can get, using all the fre3 advertising techniques from www.free-marketing-help.com.
I have a very active upline in Referralware. I am not a paying member of Referralware, but have still benefitted from being on my upline's mailing list. He gets advance leader notice of new programs, and when the program has a nice structure, there can be real benefits. I had no use for Coral Calcium, or BodyExtreme, and I detest binary payline programs, where only one leg gets all the overflow. A 2x15 structure such as CashCulture is much nicer, as you can actually get real overflow, assuming you are a paid member. I feel embarrassed, as I am not actively promoting CashCulture, but have benefitted to the tune of 13 paying overflow members (and over 100 fre3 members), which just about covers the monthly membership fee. If you would like me to forward my upline's emails to you, purely as a learning tool, and to become aware of new programs, feel welcome to email me with the subject line "Send Referralware emails". Have you heard of C.A.N - Community Action Network? I signed up with them about 4 months ago, for a one-off cost of $US50, and basically got too busy to do anything else about it. I got an email this week, saying I had "rolled over", and that I now had $255 in my account. I have since reinvested the money in the next level of their mini-portal program. Again, it will probably take about 4 months to get to the next stage, but they are introducing a very large downline club in November, so I was keen to get in before they did. CAN Miniportal
Paid Email/Survey/SurfI have finally gotten organised, and started logging how much money I earn from these programs. Just on paper, I am recording the balance at the start of each month. I will update my website with the results, to let you know how they are going. But in the interim, these programs have earnt at least $5 each since I last checked on 7th October:
AYS, Mikes and Annies. LoneStarClicks and AprilGolds are also doing very well.
Fr33 AdIf you have a useful tip that I haven't covered, send it in, and the best tip will receive a 5 line ad in the next issue of this newsletter.
