Introduction

A big welcome to all new subscribers. I hope you enjoy my home business tips and feedback.

Fr33bies

I know I usually give away a free ebook or something, but assuming you took advantage of the 12 Days of Christmas offer, you should have enough to read for the next few months without my help. I'm currently wading my way through Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" ebook, which came through the above offer.

But just in case, visit Free E-Books for some free ebooks on internet marketing. Assuming you've read all your current ebooks. I have a folder called "My Ebooks" in "My Documents" on my hard drive, so I can go there whenever I have spare time. Being organised on your PC is extremely important. My favourites folder is grouped by subject, and I use it all the time, whether I'm looking for colour sites, startpage programs, SEO tips, business programs, or PTR programs.

Marketing and Tech Tips

Well I downloaded a heap of ezines and programs from the 23 Days of Christmas, and the 117 freebies, and ended up subscribing to a lot more newsletters.

The definite flavour of the month is writing articles as a way of getting traffic, and incoming links. Here are some places to advertise your articles: http://www.article-emporium.com/submit-article.cfm, http://adswise.com/submit_articles.shtml, http://www.freesticky.com/stickyWeb/contact.asp, http://www.bpubs.com/cgi/add.cgi, http://www.allfreelancework.com/submitarticles.php, and http://www.alumbo.com/submitcontent.html. There are several others as well, which you can find through the search engines

And this site from the SEO Company has the most succinct collection of free SEO tools around!. Even better than my SEO favourites bookmark.

Also read Allan Gardyne's newsletter, and it mentioned his personal affiliate course here. Pay special attention to the list of theme directories, and the use of SBI's searchit tool to find more specialised hubs and directories to add your site to. This should be an essential step in advertising your website.

Business Programs

The new SFI 2x12 matrix is working really well. I am actually getting spillover from upline - probably the first time this has ever happened. This means it could be good for you to join under me! I revamped my SFI website Work From Home, so feel welcome to comment on the colour scheme. I use purple again, lol.

I also revamped my Work From Home Australia site, and created a pseudo-flash animation to put on it. I spent a couple of days reading a Flash manual, but in the end it was still easier to create it using the free PowerBullet software, which creates animations easily. Dead simple. And I think it really helped my site.

Paid Email/Survey/Surf

Lots of changes as usual. MistyandSamsCash has a new owner, which could be just in the nick of time. ShareAdSpace is taking over StatesPTR, which generated a lot of new signups for US/Canadians. Rod from ShareAdSpace is one of the most respected guys in PTR world. Although I do still like AYS, they are now a whole year overdue in payments, so I'm moving them down the list on my website. It is getting ridiculous how long some sites take to pay.

And I finally cashed in some survey money from Australia's PureProfile survey site and used it to buy a version of UNO that physically spits the cards out at you. It has been great for my kids over the holidays.
